Village Clerk

Services & Duties

The Village Clerk’s Office serves as a link between the citizens of the community and the Mayor and Board of Trustees. It can also be considered the hub for numerous and varied administrative services which are provided to the residents of Chicago Ridge.

In addition to these services, the clerk is considered to be the keeper of the records, and as such his office accepts freedom of information requests. The clerk also assembles agendas for the meetings of the Board of Trustees, and prepares the minutes of the meetings for the board’s approval.

Correspondence

Most correspondence and all documents pertaining to litigation should be addressed to the Village Clerk’s Office.

Drop Box

For your convenience, a drop box is available for the payment of bills or other village business. All payments should be made by check. The box is located at the entrance of the Village Hall. Please leave deposit checks only, do not leave cash.
